Deer Valley resort
Deer Valley resort is located just outside of Park City, Utah, and within forty miles of Salt Lake City. Since opening in 1981, it has become the benchmark for excellence among ski resorts. Readers of SKI magazine recently ranked Deer Valley the top resort in North America for the third time. It is world renowned for dining, guest services and slope grooming.
Deer Valley resort boasts first-class service one would expect from any fine hotel as well as an award-winning ski school. The resort also offers ski-valet services and on-site child care. Deer Valley hosted the slalom, aerial and mogul skiing events during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Six peaks offer a variety of terrain for any skier to enjoy the more than 300 inches of annual snow fall.
Obviously, Utah’s world famous powder is the main draw at Deer Valley, but the resort offers a plethora of summer activities as well. Deer Valley resort features an outdoor amphitheater which hosts a summer concert series. There is a summer adventure camp for kids and several outdoor dining options. With the snow gone, the mountain becomes an amazing setting for hiking, biking and scenic chairlift rides.
